NATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR THE SURVEY OF WORKING CONDITIONS

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY ACTIVITIES – DOWNTOWN BUENOS AIRES BRANCH OFFICE

  • NATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR THE SURVEY OF WORKING CONDITIONS

WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE NATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING PROGRAM, UOCRA AND THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY DEPARTMENT (SST), TOGETHER WITH THE DELEGATES AND IERIC, A COMPREHENSIVE SURVEY WAS CARRIED OUT AT THE CONSTRUCTION SITE LOCATED ON ALEM AVENUE AND CÓRDOBA.

Within the framework of this programme, we continue developing comprehensive survey tasks at large construction sites in the City of Buenos Aires. These tasks are aimed at the early detection of risks and their adaptation, working conditions to prevent the spread of covid19 and the registration of workers to verify compliance with law 22250.

This new building is located on Córdoba Avenue No. 80/120 at the corner of Leandro N. Alem. It is intended for office buildings and reinforced concrete work is currently being carried out in its 4 basements. The building will be 32 stories high and more than 200 workers are working in it.

The monitoring of working conditions in these works is one of the cores of this programme, mainly in those common places (dining rooms, changing rooms, toilets and access). Awareness talks with workers and delegates, delivery of leaflets and placement of posters to prevent the spread of covid19 were also carried out.
