TOGETHER WITH UOCRA’S BRANCH OFFICE IN RIO TERCERO AND UOCRA'S OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY DEPARTMENT (SST), WE ARE SURVEYING WORKING CONDITIONS IN A NEW WORK STAGE

Within the framework of the National Programme, together with UOCRA’s branch office of Rio Tercero, the body of delegates of CNE – Embalse. Working conditions for the early detection of occupational hazards are being surveyed.

The construction works started in April 2021, being a planned shutdown, after the life extension of the building tasks that had started in 2016 and that allowed the plant to start a new 30-year life cycle. The planned shutdown will have an estimated duration of seven weeks, the objective of these shutdowns is to perform inspection tasks, preventive maintenance and corrective actions that cannot be developed with the plant in operation. The tasks being performed are welding tasks, tasks at heights and assemblies.

We are working on verifying the general working conditions and on the application of the OSH practical recommendation protocol to prevent COVID-19 transmission.
