NATIONAL PROGRAMME ON TRAINING IN HEALTH AND SAFETY AT PROFESSIONAL TRAINING CENTRE Nº 3

MORE AWARENESS ACTIONS

TRAINING ACTIONS IN HEALTH AND SAFETY WERE CARRIED OUT AT UOCRA’S PROFESSIONAL TRAINING CENTRE Nº 3 FOR STUDENTS OF THE SPECIALITY IN HOME AND INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICITY AND RENEWABLE ENERGIES.

A technical talk was held on awareness and diffusion of the main legislation on health and safety at constructions and safety and prevention measures in the development of tasks at height and others, within the framework of the National Programme on Training in Health and Safety, and as part of the joint work in UOCRA Social Network. 
Over 40 students who received flyers related to “;work at heights and use of personal protection equipment”, took part.
The contents developed were:
-Argentinean Legislation on Health and Safety
-Personal Protection Equipment
-Risks when Working at Heights
These actions train students in Health, Safety and Environment in the Construction Industry area with the aim of reducing accidents and occupational diseases. 
Participation and inclusion of the soon-to be graduates from the Professional Training Centre Nº 3 are part of the joint and multidisciplinary work to improve working and environmental conditions in the construction industry.
