Together with UOCRA Olavarría, we conducted a survey of working conditions at the different front of worksites of a concrete plant expansion.
Within the National Programme of survey of working conditions, UOCRA through the Department of Health and Safety at Work (HSW) and together with UOCRA Olavarría, several actions were carried out at the concrete plant L’amali. These actions were carried out on 19 and 20 February. Comprehensibly, together with IERIC, workers were surveyed in order to verify compliance with Act No. 22250. During the building of the extension , more than 1,000 workers will be hired and other 2,000 indirect jobs are expected with a peak of 750 people during the work construction phase. This project will require 29 months to be finalized at the beginning of 2020. Currently, reinforced concrete and assembly tasks are being carried out. Working conditions were surveyed and different prevention posters were put up at workrooms. Also, booklets and preventive flyers were handed out at the different front works.
