ILO’S 5TH INTERACTIVE CHAPTER ON SOCIAL PROTECTION

Comprehensive systems of social protection to fight against inequality.
Social protection includes a set of guarantees of adequate income especially in cases of old age, unemployment, deceases, disability, maternity, accidents at work or occupational deceases needed to give answers to present and future social contingencies. 
These policies, where States play a key role in the design and implementation, have shown to be undeniable motors of  poverty reduction and inequality.
