NATIONAL UNION TRAINING PROGRAMME ON HEALTH AND SAFETY

MORE UNION TRAINING ACTIONS IN VILLA OLÍMPICA UOCRA CAPITAL

UOCRA, THROUGH DEPARTMENT OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH (OSH), TOGETHER WITH UOCRA CAPITAL, CONTINUED TRAINING ACTIONS THROUGHOUT MAY, AIMED AT VILLA OLÍMPICA DELEGATES AND UNION ASSOCIATES.

Within the framework of National Union Training Programme on Health and Safety, we continued training actions on health and safety, throughout May, aimed at delegates and union associates who work at “;Villa Olímpica”, which is located in the southern area of the City of Buenos Aires.
The objective of these talks is the early detection of risks and dealing with security measures that should be applied on different fronts of work within Villa Olímpica. Talks were organized in the "Mobile Training Unit".
We worked on the risks that may arise at this stage of the work; basically including work at height (masonry and finishing) and excavations (networks); with the focus on fall-arrest systems, conditions of scaffoldings, signaling, protection in ditches and tidiness and cleanliness in work areas; since these are the tasks of greater impact.
We highlight the joint work and continuous cooperation of UOCRA Delegates, for the purpose of improving Working Conditions and Environment and thus improve the quality of life of building workers.
