TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF ASBESTOS-CONTAINING MATERIALS IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY

IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE AGREEMENT ENTERED BETWEEN UOCRA AND SUPERINTENDENCY OF OCCUPATIONAL RISKS [SRT] THE FIRST STAGE OF TRAINING ACTIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF ASBESTOS-CONTAINING MATERIALS IN BUILDING SITES ARE COMPLETED.

In defense of the health and safety of building workers, UOCRA, within the framework of Training Agreement entered with Superintendency of Occupational Risks [SRT], completed the courses conducted during the month of March

The objective of this agreement objective includes the knowledge and dissemination of appropriate working conditions for the management of asbestos-containing materials in order to reduce occupational diseases.

Over 100 people from different Institutions; UOCRA Building Sites Delegates; Government of the City of Buenos Aires Inspectors; Superintendency of Occupational Risks (SRT) Inspectors; Ministry of Labour of the Province of Buenos Aires Inspectors; UOCRA AND IERIC technicians and other governmental Institutions involved in this topic attended the courses.

Courses were given by Engineer Armando Chamorro at UOCRA Foundation offices.
