MORE PREVENTION ACTIONS – UOCRA MONTE GRANDE

THERE WERE TAKEN SURVEY ACTIONS OF WORKING CONDITIONS AT WORKS OF EZEIZA AIRPORT AND VILLAGE JUAN PABLO II, ESTEBAN ECHEVERRIA, IN THE PROVINCE OF BUENOS AIRES

Within the framework of activities of National Programme on Management and Survey of Working Conditions, UOCRA, through its Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) together with UOCRA Monte Grande, there were taken survey actions of working conditions at works of Ezeiza International Airport and Village Juan Pablo II, both located in Esteban Echeverria.
At Ezeiza Airport, there were reported tasks carried out in HANGAR 5, in the CONTROL TOWER and the extension of the PEDESTRIAN circulation. Also, tasks of reinforced concrete and masonry were conducted. Information from over 150 workers was collected.
At Village JUAN PABLO II, there were carried out tasks of masonry, electrical and gas installation, plumbing, membrane roofing, laying of ceramic tiles, cement, durlock and other finishings. Information from over 200 workers was collected.
The aim of both actions is keeping track of working conditions for early detection of any breach and further adjustment, in the framework of Decree 911 and other standards; and on the other hand, census of workers for the purposes of observing compliance with Act 22,250. 
Also, safety leaflets were delivered to various work areas and posters of prevention were displayed for the different stages of work. Activities were carried out among UOCRA Monte Grande Union teams and UOCRA technical teams belonging to the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
