6th Workshop on Occupational Safety and Health from Gender Perspective
With the participation of Gerardo Martínez
Within the framework of UOCRA WOMEN Programme together with the UOCRA Social Network, it was held the 6th Workshop on Occupational Safety and Health from Gender Perspective at UOCRA headquarters.
This activity was attended by women workers from different UOCRA sections, among them, Buenos Aires Capital City, Avellaneda, Monte Grande, Moreno, San Martín, San Justo and the Northern Section.
Training Course Objectives are:
- Strengthen the actions of the UOCRA Women Programme
- Know and apply our Collective Bargaining Agreement 76/75.
- Know and apply Act 22250 and implementation of Act 20744 as complementary.
- Work together with UOCRA Social network in the implementation of the Programme against addictions and other substances.
- Train in preventive Actions for the different tasks of the building industry
- Improve working conditions at workplace (Cymat).
Women participation in our activity and new contents to address this singular issue which they are involved in, generated debates among the attendees who you have participated in search of the labor issues resolutions incorporating gender perspective.
Highlighting the commitment of our Trade Union, our General Secretary Gerardo Martinez was present in the development of the workshop. He spoke about the importance of women participation in our Union and the work carried out by the UOCRA in its different areas, exchanging opinions with the participation of women workers on the issue of women workers in the works and the important work with delegates.
