  • Launch of Trade Union Training Programme for UOCRA’s Youth

At the initiative of the UOCRA General Secretary Gerardo Martínez, Trade Union Training Programme for UOCRA’s Youth was launched in UOCRA Northern Area in Greater Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires City.
Reporting activities took place at the headquarters of UOCRA Northern Area in Greater Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires City UOCRA Movement (MUOCRA) Committee Room. Osvaldo Rodríguez, General Secretary of UOCRA Northern Area, and Rubén Pronotti, General Secretary of UOCRA Buenos Aires City participated in these activities.
Members of the Trade Union Electoral Board José Luis López, Andrés Rodríguez, Javier Armúa, Cristian Varas, and the Executive Director of Foundation Fundación UOCRA, architect Gustavo Gándara also attended the meetings. 
Over 50 young people under 25 years, delegates, staff and activists from the trade union organization took part in the two meetings. In the coming months, they will develop, the integral training course aiming to be trained as Union officials for the defence and strengthening of the Trade Union action policies conducted by UOCRA.
The training action is systemic in nature and will have official certification of our UOCRA Institute which will provide an added value as professionalization development to our Union officials.
Through a video especially designed for this occasion, sent from the ILO Summit in Geneva, UOCRA General Secretary, Gerardo Martínez, celebrated the beginning of the initiative and addressed young people a warm speech.
"It is important that the trade union movement has a representative voice of the needs of today and now, and for future generations, and for that reason we need well-trained Union officials", said Martinez.
