INTERNATIONAL DAY OF COMMEMORATION OF WORKERS KILLED OR INJURED IN OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENTS

  • INTERNATIONAL DAY OF COMMEMORATION OF WORKERS KILLED OR INJURED IN OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENTS

LET’S TAKE CARE OF OUR LIVES – LET’S TAKE CARE OF OUR WORK – LET’S FACE THE PANDEMIC

In order to confront the pandemic of COVID 19, we have a need to protect and care for the lives and health of workers and their families.
We reinforced the measures to take care of those who take care of you. We adapted the services of our union health insurance to guarantee the care of the construction family.
We collaborated in the reorganization of duties for a safe return to work, we proposed and agreed on a series of health and safety prevention protocols for COVID 19 in the construction industry.
If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that for workers, health and safety is not an option, it is a right.
We have to respond better to the COVID 19 crisis. Building a different future requires everyone's commitment.
That is why we reaffirm the need to strengthen investment in health and safety systems that are more resilient.
We claim the universal right of everyone to a healthy, safe and healthy work environment, free from harassment and violence. And we promote, together with the international trade union movement, the incorporation of health and safety rights into the framework of the ILO's fundamental rights and principles.
Health and safety at work is our priority, prevention and activism is our way of life.
