Mrs. President Cristina Fernandez held a meeting with international trade union leaders headed up by The General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation, Guy Ryder and the Foreign Affairs Secretary of the Republic of Argentina CGT and Member of the ILO´s Governing Body Gerardo Martinez.
During the meeting, Guy Ryder, expressed his congratulations to the President Cristina Fernández for what Argentina did towards discussing employment related topics at the G-20 Summit framework.
Likewise, Gerardo Martinez thanked Mrs. President for participating in the meeting and highlighted the importance of dealing with the issues that affect workers around the world within the framework of this Summit.

Also present at the meeting were Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Carlos Tomada, Foreign Minister Jorge Taiana, Economy Minister Amado Boudou, apart from other trade union leaders.
