DURING HIS CONCERT “GOODBYE LUNA” HORACIO GUARANY WAS AWARDED THE BUILDING WORKER OF THE NATIONAL CULTURE GRANTED BY UOCRA

Horacio Guarany “the People’s Singer” gave his concert “Goodbye Luna” before an audience that applauded during the three-hour show on Luna Park’s stage, sponsored by, among others, UOCRA Culture Program, space for the development and promotion of the national culture that works within the framework of our Social Network.

CHILD LABOUR EXPLOITATION CONFERENCE ORGANIZED BY FOUNDATION CONSTRUIR FUTURO, AN INTEGRAL PART OF UOCRA’S SOCIAL NETWORK

The Child Labour Exploitation Conference, organized by Foundation Construir Futuro, took place in the headquarters of the Building Workers Union (UOCRA) in the presence of our General Secretary and Honorary President of Foundation Construir Futuro Gerardo Martinez; National Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Carlos Tomada, National Secretary of Human Rights Eduardo Luis Duhalde; and ILO Bureau Director in Argentina Javier González Olaechea Franco.

IT GOT THE SECOND MERIT AWARD IN SCIENTIFIC WORK ON FAMILY MEDICINE RECIDENCIES

Our National Residency Program has been awarded again: Second Merit Award in Scientific Work, named: “End of Life: Patient and Doctor Insights” submitted by The Primary Care Medical Center [CEMAP] Tucumán in the Third Provincial Congress of Primary Health Care, the Second Regional Congress of the Primary Health Care in the Argentine North West Region and the 8th Congress of the Argentine Federation of Family and General Medicine carried out in the City of San Salvador de Jujuy in the Province of Jujuy from 24 to 26 September.

FIRST DENGUE PREVENTION CAMPAIGN

A training program for training trainers in Dengue prevention began in October, within the framework of collaborative agreement by UOCRA Social Network – Construir Salud and the Argentinean Chamber of the Building Industry [CAC].

Mrs. President Cristina Fernandez met international trade union leaders.

Mrs. President Cristina Fernandez held a meeting with international trade union leaders headed up by The General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation, Guy Ryder and the Foreign Affairs Secretary of the Republic of Argentina CGT and Member of the ILO´s Governing Body Gerardo Martinez.
During the meeting, Guy Ryder, expressed his congratulations to the President Cristina Fernández for what Argentina did towards discussing employment related topics at the G-20 Summit framework.
