PROGRAMME ON COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING AMONGST SRT, CAMARCO AND UOCRA

MORE UOCRA - MORE PREVENTION AND TRAINING ACTIONS - UOCRA NEUQUÉN AND RÍO NEGRO

WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE COOPERATION AGREEMENT, SRT, CAMARCO AND UOCRA, WE CONTINUE IN SEVERAL CITIES OF OUR COUNTRY WITH THE TRAINING ACTIONS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAMME WITH THE GOAL OF IMPROVING WORKING CONDITIONS FOR THE REDUCTION OF WORK ACCIDENT RATES IN BUILDING COMPANIES IN THE CITIES OF NEUQUÉN, CAPITAL AND CIPOLLETTI, RÍO NEGRO.

Within the framework of the agreement, the training actions of the comprehensive training programme have begun. They have been organized by UOCRA’s Department of Health and Safety at Work (HSW). This training stage is aimed at building workers of companies with high rates of work accidents of the region. 
The activities took place at the Centre of Professional Training in the City of Neuquén and UOCRA delegation – Cipolletti. They are supervised by the Superintendence of Risks at Works (SRW).

Some of the developed contents are:
-Act No 24557 – Risks at work (LRT).
-Decree 911 on hygiene and safety for the Building Industry.
-Rights and Obligations of SRT, ART, Employers and Workers.
-Personal Protection Equipment: Types of elements according to tasks and risks, use and care. 
-Risks of working at heights: Use of Personal Protection Equipment according to task, line of life, anchor points, ladder and platform of work. Specific work in railway-related tasks, movement of loads and others.
-Risks and safety measures in demolitions and excavations, among others.
