PROGRAMME ON INTRODUCTION TO MANAGEMENT WITH ASBESTOS AND GOOD ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY

MORE TRAINING AND PREVENTION - UOCRA SAN MARTIN

WE ARE CONTINUING WITH TRAINING ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF UOCRA AGREEMENT - SRT THAT IS INTENDED TO GET TO KNOW THE IMPACT OF ASBESTOS ON WORKERS’ HEALTH AND TO DISSEMINATE PROTECTION MEASURES TO BE IMPLEMENTED AT WORKSITES.

Within the framework of the Programme we have started with training actions in the management of material with asbestos and good environmental practices in industries aimed at workers, delegates and health and safety technicians. 
This course aims to get to know and inform the impact of asbestos on workers’ health and their families’ and to provide practical tools of protection and prevention for its withdrawal at the different types of building works. At the same time, concepts related to workers’ rights within the framework of the Law of Risks at Work are being addressed. 
In this first stage, over 40 workers were trained who took part in the activity of UOCRA San Martín.
