Meeting of Building and Wood Workers’ International (BWI) Youth Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean was held at UOCRA headquarters led by Regional President Gerardo Martinez. Meeting objectives were aimed at developing a working plan towards the next BWI Regional Committee meeting that will be held in Chile by 2015 and strengthening a BWI Regional Youth structure in Latin America and the Caribbean. Within this framework, a wide range of proposals, experiences and strategies for Youth Decent Work Campaigns in the region and the definition of priorities, actions to be taken and the follow-up, through the commitment of the young union leaders of the region.
