NATIONAL UNION TRAINING PROGRAMME ON HEALTH AND SAFETY

MORE TRAINING AND DISSEMINATION ACTIONS � UOCRA MONTE GRANDE

TOGETHER WITH UOCRA MONTEGRANDE (BA), THERE WERE HELD TWO TRAINING AND DISSEMINATION MEETINGS TOGETHER WITH DELEGATES AND WORKERS FROM PRESTRESSED CONCRETE PLANTS ON 31 MAY.

With the aim of improving the working conditions and environment in Prestressed Concrete Plants, UOCRA, through the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and UOCRA Monte Grande, we carried out two technical talks for dissemination and implementation of safety measures tackled in the “;Manual on Safety and Health at Work for Prestressed Concrete Plants” developed by UOCRA OSH.
The aim of the talk was the dissemination of protection and prevention measures that we have to implement in different parts of prestressed concrete manufacturing process; at the same time, each worker and delegates of the plants were given a Manual. These meetings also allowed us to evaluate working conditions in these plants and suggest improvements.
In the development of the Manual on safety and health at Work for Prestressed Concrete Plants and working with delegates and workers from different plants throughout the country, we have focused in work processes, observing risk situations of each part built with prestressed concrete.
