WE HAVE BEGUN WITH ANNUAL TRAINING ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS IN THE WORKSHOP OF “;;ESCUELA DEL CASCO HISTÓRICO DE LA CIUDAD" (BUENOS AIRES HISTORIC CITY CENTRE SCHOOL)
Training and awareness talks were conducted within the framework of the Agreement between UOCRA - Buenos Aires Historic City Centre Management and through the Department of Health and Safety at Work (SST) in the facilities of the School – Workshop for students who are enrolled in the 1st quarter of school workshop, in both shifts. Contents developed are related to the risks and preventive measures for work at height and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) according to the tasks to be carried out, in order to prevent and reduce accidents in the Building Industry High rates of accidents were also identified looking for improving the quality of life of workers and their families, so as the participating students incorporate ideas and knowledge and be able to detect risks to apply preventive methods. Over 100 male and female workers enrolled in trade courses by School - Workshop of Government of the City of Buenos Aires (GCBA) have participated in the workshops.
