MORE PREVENTION ACTIONS - UOCRA CAPITAL

THERE WERE TAKEN SURVEY ACTIONS OF WORKING CONDITIONS AND MONITORING OF ACTIVITIES FOR WASTE MANAGEMENT AT WORKS OF D LINE SUBWAY, IN THE CITY OF BUENOS AIRES

Within the framework of activities of National Programme on Management and Survey of Working Conditions, UOCRA, through its Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) together with UOCRA Capital there were taken actions at D Line Subway works in the City of Buenos Aires.

Excavations tasks, finishing and masonry works are currently being performed; as part of the actions aiming at disseminating and raising awareness among workers, there were held several talks at workplace to work on the separation of waste at source. Activities were carried out in different sections of works at D Line Subway garages, in the neighborhood of Núñez; where over 150 workers were trained. Also, we have relieved workers data for further verification of employment registration.
The aim of both actions is keeping track of working conditions for early detection of any breach and further adjustment, in the framework of Decree 911 and other standards; and on the other hand, census of workers for the purposes of observing compliance with Act 22,250.
Also, safety leaflets were delivered to various work areas and posters of prevention were displayed for the different stages of work. 
Activities were carried out among UOCRA Capital Union teams and UOCRA technical teams belonging to the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
