WE REPORT THE IRRESPONSIBLE MISBEHAVIOUR OF EMPLOYERS IN THE CONSTRUCTION THAT MAY HARM BUILDING WORKERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

OPEN LETTER

  • WE REPORT THE IRRESPONSIBLE MISBEHAVIOUR OF EMPLOYERS IN THE CONSTRUCTION THAT MAY HARM BUILDING WORKERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

We warn about unscrupulous and illegal misbehaviour of a sector of large, medium and small construction employers that act as withholding agents and do not comply with its obligations of payment dues and contribution to our OSPECON Health Insurance, which integrates the solidarity health system.

Over recent months it has been registered a significant increase in delinquencies in the payment of contributions and trade union dues to be moved to our Health Insurance that reaches the 30%.

This problem is exacerbated by the crisis our industry is undergoing which has generated a loss of more than 60,000 thousand of direct jobs and other thousands of indirect jobs.

This deliberate, irregular and arbitrary business misbehaviour causes a serious damage to our institutions threatening the social and health care level of coverage for our active workers and of those who are jobless.

UOCRA declares to be on the alert and mobilization status in legitimate exercise of defence of those labor and social rights of building workers and their families.
