NATIONAL UNION TRAINING PROGRAMME ON HEALTH AND SAFETY

MORE TRAINING AND DISSEMINATION ACTIONS

TOGETHER WITH UOCRA CORDOBA, IT WAS HELD A DAY OF TRAINING AND DISSEMINATION FOR THE DELEGATES AND WORKERS FROM PRESTRESSED CONCRETE PLANTS; ALSO COMPANIES REPRESENTATIVES WERE PRESENT.

With the aim of improving the working conditions and environment in concrete prestressed plants, UOCRA, through the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and UOCRA Córdoba, we carried out a training day for dissemination of the Manual on safety and health at Work for prestressed concrete plants.
The aim of the talk, was the dissemination of protection and prevention measures that we have to implement in different parts of prestressed concrete manufacturing process; at the same time, each worker and delegates of the plants were given a Manual. This day also allowed us to evaluate working conditions in these plants and suggest improvements.
In the development of the Manual on safety and health at Work for prestressed concrete plants and working with delegates and workers from different plants throughout the country, we have focused in work processes, observing risk situations of each part built with prestressed concrete.
UOCRA and the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) thank companies that allowed us to enter plants to study each work process and mainly workers and delegates of these plants, who shared their experiences and knowledge with us. Contributions were developed in this Manual to improve working conditions.
