IN CONJUNCTION WITH UOCRA CAPITAL AND DELEGATES FROM THE WORKS OF VILLA OLIMPICA, WE ARE SURVEYING AND WORKING TO IMPROVE WORKING CONDITIONS AT THIS MAJOR WORK IN THE CITY OF BUENOS AIRES.

Within the framework of activities carried out by Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) together with UOCRA Capital, we are surveying working conditions of the works of Villa Olímpica, in the Southern area of the City of Buenos Aires.

At this venue, located at Avenida Cruz and Escalada, there will be built 31 buildings, of which today there are 19 under construction and where nearly 1000 workers are working at the average stage of reinforced concrete between storeys 2 and 4, having to reach to a 9-story building height.

Surveys carried out by delegates and UOCRA Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) aims at early detection of risks for the implementation of control measures and monitoring on different stages of work.

Training processes, in conjunction with UOCRA Foundation, are carried out in the "Mobile Training Unit" and are aimed at providing delegates and workers with more information and knowledge related to security measures at the stage of work which they are currently undergoing.

Networking, allows us to focus our tasks to improve the conditions and environment of work in these works and reduce the accidents at workplace.
