It was held the 2nd Day of Labour Relations organized by the Association of Human Resources of Argentina where representatives from different fields in the world of work and labour relations participated in talks and debates.

The opening was carried out by a panel composed of the Vice-Minister of Labour, Dr. Noemí Rial; UOCRA General Secretary, Gerardo Martínez and the International Labour Organization (ILO) Regional Representative, Pedro Furtado de Oliveira, who spoke on the topic: Tripartism as a key in a process of transformation.

Gerardo Martínez during his speech noted that: "Tripartism will be an instrument of transformation only if its ultimate goal is social justice. Recognizing that there is a relationship of inequality between capital and labour and the State's role must redress this balance."

In that sense, Gerardo Martinez said that "in UOCRA we have many tripartite experiences, from developments of the conformation of competency-based training to the construction of policies to eliminate unregistered employment" and stressed "the importance which in recent years the Ministry of labour has had in the construction of an institutionalized tripartism. In Argentina there is social dialogue and the work of the Ministry has been essential since it had a key role in the commitment to tripartism and social justice".
