New UOCRA Culture shows for the month of August

UOCRA Culture Programme renewed its agenda for the month of August with cycle of Tango and theatre shows for adults and children. Proposals are free and open to the community.

With a wide range of cultural activities open to the community, UOCRA Culture Programme renewed its agenda for the month of August with musical and theatrical proposals.
Under the motto “;August is Tango in UOCRA Culture” the programme will develop a cycle of concerts in Theatre "Gastón Barral”, starting on 7 August with the participation of Lucrecia Merico who will release her single “;Por eso” (That’s why)
The cycle will feature outstanding artists: Walter Romero, the guitar trio "Dipi Kvitko Trio", the group La Siniestra, the Ventarrón Quintet, Varela Stella Díaz singer and the Group Las del Abasto, presenting their show "Minas de Tango" (Tango Women)
The closing will take place on 28 August by the Quartet Esteban Morgado.
The theatrical agenda will open this month with the play "Distracciones" (Distractions), by Carlos Gorostiza produced by the Teatro Cervantes, and continue with the four performances for the play "Viva la Vida" (Enjoy Life), featuring the work of Alejandra Majluf, directed by Emmanuel De Martino.
For the kids, the month of August has two proposals for children's Theatre: the play "Próxima Parada”, (Next stop), co-produced with Argentinean Chamber of the Building Industry [CAC] and the play "R.A.P. Recuento Argentino de Personajes” (Argentine retelling of characters), directed by Miguel Israilevich. Both will be presented in Theatre "Gastón Barral", belonging to the UOCRA.
