WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SRT, CAMARCO AND UOCRA COOPERATION AGREEMENT, WE ARE CONTINUING IN SEVERAL CITIES OF OUR COUNTRY WITH TRAINING ACTIONS FROM THE COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAMME WITH THE GOAL OF IMPROVING WORKING CONDITIONS FOR THE REDUCTION OF ACCIDENT RATES OF BUILDING COMPANIES IN DIFFERENT CITIES OF OUR COUNTRY.
Within the framework of the agreement, training actions from the Comprehensive Programme have begun taking place at the facilities of UOCRA’s Department of Health and Safety at Work (HSW). This training stage is aimed at building workers of companies with high rates of work accidents and who also perform their duties in the City of Buenos Aires. Over 90 workers have already been trained. The actions have been held at UOCRA’s headquarters and they have been supervised by the Superintendence of Labour Risks (SRT), this week they have been held in the cities of Rosario, Rio Cuarto and Córdoba, Capital. Some of the contents developed were: -Act n° 24557 – Labour Risks (LRT) -Decree n° 911 on hygiene and safety for the building industry. -Rights and Duties of SRT, ART. Employers and Workers. - Personal Protection Equipment: types of elements according to tasks and risks, use and care. -Risks of working at heights: Use of personal protection equipment, line of life and anchor points, ladders and platform of work. Specific work in railways; load movement and others. -Risks and safety measures in demolitions and excavations, among others.
