Within the framework of the cooperation agreement, the SRT, Camaro and UOCRA we launched the training actions belonging to the comprehensive programme with the goal of improving work conditions for the reduction of accident rates of building companies Training actions of the Comprehensive Training Programme have started. They took place at UOCRA’s facilities of the Department of Health and Safety at Work (HSW). In this training stage addressed to building workers of companies with high-rates of labour accidents who carry out their duties in the City of Buenos Aires. The actions will take place during the whole month of June and they are supervised by the Superintendence of Labour Risks. One of the developed contents were: -Act N° 24557 – Labour Risks - Decree 911 Hygiene and Safety for Building Industry -Rights and Obligations of SRT, ART, Employers and Workers. -Personal Protection Equipment: types of equipment according to tasks and risks, use and care. -Risks of working at heights: use of personal protection equipment according to tasks, line of life, anchor point, ladders and work platforms. Specific work in railway lines: load moving, among others. -Risks and safety measures at demolitions and excavations.
