NATIONAL UNION TRAINING PROGRAMME ON OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

MORE TRAINING AND DISSEMINATION ACTIONS

IN COOPERATION WITH UOCRA PILAR, WE CARRIED OUT A SESSION OF TRAINING AND DISSEMINATION WITH THE DELEGATES AND WORKERS IN A PRESTRESSED-CONCRETE PLANT.

With the aim of improving the work conditions and environment in the prestressed-concrete plants, UOCRA through the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) with UOCRA Pilar, we carried out sessions of technical talks for the dissemination of “;Occupational Safety and Health Handbook for Prestressed-concrete plants” 

The goal of the talk was the dissemination of protection and prevention measures that we can adopt in the manufacturing process of the different prestressed- concrete pieces. At the same time, a handbook to every worker and delegate from the plants was given. This session also allowed us to evaluate the working conditions of the plant and to propose improvements.

In the developing of the “;Occupational Safety and Health Handbook for Prestressed-Concrete Plants” and by working with the delegates and workers from the different plants throughout the country, the different work processes were focused on approaching the risk situations of each of the pieces that are built with prestressed-concrete.
