IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THESE PROGRAMMES, TOGETHER WITH DELEGATES, WE CARRIED OUT TRAINING ACTIONS IN HEALTH AND SAFETY OF WORKERS AND SURVEY OF WORKING CONDITIONS.
UOCRA Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and delegates from Embalse Nuclear Plant (CNE) (Río Tercero – Córdoba) are carrying out training actions in health and safety of workers and survey of working conditions. We have begun with the startup of National Union Training Programme on Health and Safety, which aims at early detection of risks and the implementation and monitoring of safety measures on various fronts of the Plant. Contents of the training activities were worked together with safety and hygiene personnel of each company and NASA, in order to unify protection and prevention criteria to implement at different risks; taken into account the internal procedures defined by the type of work, we are currently in. Contents developed are: Argentine Legislation - Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) - Electrical Hazards – Work at Height - Welding (risks and specific occupational diseases) - Loads Movement - Ergonomics - Measures applied in Excavation Works - Tidiness and Cleaning and Signage. Training activities are carried out several times a week in classrooms provided by NASA. National Union Training Programme on Working Conditions is reporting working conditions (PPE, tidiness and cleaning, improvement of ventilation systems, among others) of the different fronts and work for the implementation of improvement at workplace, including the tasks that are developed outside the plant. Within this program, we collect data from workers, for further verification for the purposes of observing compliance with Act 22,250
