TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF ASBESTOS-CONTAINING MATERIALS IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY

MORE TRAINING AND PREVENTION ACTIONS

IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE AGREEMENT ENTERED BETWEEN UOCRA AND SUPERINTENDENCY OF OCCUPATIONAL RISKS [SRT] THE SECOND STAGE OF TRAINING ACTIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF ASBESTOS-CONTAINING MATERIALS IN BUILDING SITES STARTED.

In defense of the health and safety of building workers, UOCRA, within the framework of Training Agreement entered with Superintendency of Occupational Risks [SRT], started the courses that will be developed during the month of June.

The objective of this agreement objective includes the knowledge and dissemination of appropriate working conditions for the management of asbestos-containing materials in order to reduce occupational diseases.

Over 100 people from different Institutions; UOCRA Building Sites Delegates; Government of the City of Buenos Aires Inspectors; Superintendency of Occupational Risks (SRT) Inspectors; Ministry of Labour of the Province of Buenos Aires Inspectors; building companies and other governmental Institutions involved in this topic attended the courses.

Courses are given by Engineer Armando Chamorro and his professional team at UOCRA Foundation offices.
