TRAINING ACTIONS ON HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR TECHNICAL SCHOOL OTTO KRAUSE’S BUILDING BRANCH STUDENTS
Within the framework of the National Training Programme on Health and Safety, on 24 May, we carried out a technical talk of awareness and dissemination of the main regulations on health and safety in the building industry as well as safety and prevention measures in the development of tasks at height among others. Over 20 students of the Technical Building Branch attended the meeting and received handouts related to occupational hazards at height and use of PPE, Personal Protection Equipment. The following topics were developed: Argentina Applicable Laws (including Act N°19587, 24557 and Decree 911); presentation and use of PPE and equipment for working at height. Participation and inclusion of future technicians and master builders, is part of the joint and multidisciplinary tasks to improve Working Conditions and Environment in the Building Industry.
